Many are determined to get to the bottom of the Mike Brown case despite minds already being made up. As few still struggle to uncover the truths that come few and far between amidst that last weeks, one journalist is claiming that his lawsuit could prove Mike Brown to be a member of a gang and even a murder suspect.
Editor-in-Chief of GotNews, Charles Johnson, announced just over a week ago that despite the family’s claims that Mike Brown didn’t have a criminal record, this may not necessarily be true. Stating that he’d been approached by at least two law enforcement contacts saying Brown did in fact have a sealed juvenile record, he immediately filed suit to have the records released.
Releasing even further shocking news, Johnson went on to state that his contacts insisted he was not only a member of the notorious Crips street gang, but also that he’d been charged with second degree murder.
“To find out if those police officers are correct requires seeing Brown’s juvenile arrest record, which ought to be freely available given that he is dead and therefore has no right to privacy remaining,” Johnson later stated. “Knowing the truth about Brown’s past will help us gauge the credibility of his parents and family who have called him a ‘gentle giant.'”
Johnson’s attorney, Johnathon Burns, is arguing that since the boy is deceased, his records are no longer sealed. The court hearing is set to take place on September 3 where many eagerly await the result, and hopeful release of these records in which the Brown family have tried so hard to conceal.
