CNN has released a recording that allegedly features audio of the gunshots that killed Michael Brown. Anchor Don Lemon released the recording on Monday night’s episode of CNN Tonight.

An unidentified man claims to have unknowingly recorded the gunfire as he video-chatted with a friend. While at least 10 shots can be heard in the audio clip, Lemon was quick to say that the tape has not yet been verified.

“CNN cannot independent verify the authenticity of this tape,” Lemon cautioned his viewers, according to Mediaite. “[We have] reached out to the FBI for confirmation of their interview with the Ferguson resident who says he made the recording.”

Listen to the recording yourself in the video above. Do you think it is indeed the audio of Michael Brown’s murder? Let us know in the comments below!
