Conservative commentator and esteemed pastor Jesse Lee Peterson recently came out with quite the accusation when he referred to Mike Brown – the dead young man at the center of current controversy – as nothing more than your average thug. Stating that from the get go he knew Brown to be a thug, Peterson explains that all he needed to know was that the now deceased young man was running from police.
The accusations came about during an interview in which Peterson explained, “I’ve said from day one that Michael Brown is a thug. The fact that he was running from the cops, period, because good folks do not run from police officers, they follow their instructions.”
Brown isn’t the first person Peterson has referred to as a thug, as he also interjected himself in the Trayvon Martin case a few years back.
According to the D.C. Clothesline:
Morgan attempted to ask if Peterson thought the outcome would have been different if Martin had been white and worn a hoodie, like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. He said it wouldn’t have mattered and declared that the portrayal of Trayvon Martin was “some innocent little kid, tip-toeing through the tulips” was an “absolute lie.”
“Trayvon Martin was a thug. His parents know that, you know that, I know that,” Peterson said.
During that interview, Peterson also explained that the likes of those, such as Obama, Holder, Sharpton and Jackson are, “using black Americans by dividing the races” and “intimidating white people to get more power.”
As the facts continue to come out, it appears as though Peterson was right all along. The pastor had made his remarks before the release of the Brown robbery video and have only been further validated by truths slowly trickling in.
