As it seemed that just about all photos of the notorious Michael Brown “killer” cop had been scrubbed from the internet, it seems that one social media page was overlooked. Found deep within his father’s Facebook photo’s, a photo of Darren Wilson has been found and is spreading amongst the internet.
Wilson’s name was released on August 15, by Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson who has also explained that the officer had been removed from the area two days prior to the announcement. As there is a significant risk to both the officer and his family due to the release of his identity, the department did as much as they could to conceal any and all information they could pertaining to Wilson.
Despite their most desperate attempts, it seems that one photo has made its way to the internet that was found on Wilson’s father’s Facebook page. The photo bears the description, “Very proud of my son, Darren Wilson on his receiving a Commendation from his Police Department,” John Wilson wrote on February 11. “Congratulations Son.”
What do you think – is the release of this photo dangerous for Wilson and his family, or do you believe he is pretty well protected at this time?
