We’ve all felt the effects of stressful driving situations, but add in there a dose of PTSD and you could have yourself quite the volatile mix. One U.S. Marine discovered this the hard way after his intense and explosive actions were caught on tape after a minor traffic incident.
Apparently Sergeant Joshua Brigthman was hit from behind by 19-year-old Mike McCurdy-Quintana with what was described as a simple bumper tap. As Mike sat in his car with his disabled sister Bree – who is also a Marine veteran – Brigthman sprung from his vehicle and entered into quite the violent episode.
As Bree just sat there recording, the two decided to wait for police, lock their doors and just turn up the music. Even the sound of ACDC at full volume couldn’t silence this hyped up Marine though as he was heard hurling a series of profanity laced threats toward the duo including “I am going to f*cking kill you.”
According to Mike, Brigthman did apologize, but apparently it didn’t seem legitimately authentic. The marine’s dad has come forward to say that although he believes his son was acting in such a way, he does suffer from PTSD on account of two tours in Iraq.
