Two homeless men broke into an Oregon home in hopes of stealing a few things, however, they got more than they bargained for because the man inside was prepared with a shotgun.
Joseph Killingsworth, 27, and Johnny Moore, 25, arrived at the home of a 23-year-old in Coos Bay with attack dogs and baseball bats. They were ready to seek revenge on a man whom they believed had reported them to the Bureau of Land Management for trespassing.
After breaking in, the transients began to beat their victim severely with the baseball bats, but the man was not about to go down without a fight. He grabbed his shotgun and fired two warning shots into the air, which scared his attackers half to death. They fled the scene and rushed to call 911 like a couple of sissies.

The 23-year-old has been treated for extensive injuries to his head, face, and back. The two men who attacked him have been apprehended by police and charged with assault.
Well, this is another perfect example of why law-abiding citizens should be allowed to own firearms. If this 23-year-old had not had his trusty shotgun, he’d probably be six feet under at this point. Show your support for the Second Amendment in the comments section!
