You may remember right after Obama’s initial election as president back in 2008 where countless voters were so excited about the “hope and change” sure to come their way. As such a fantasy has worn off however, those same ecstatic Obama worshipers seem to now have a bit of buyer’s remorse.
One such example comes to us from Joel Gilbert in his newly released documentary “There’s No Place Like Utopia,” where he went and tracked down Peggy Joseph. Now if remember, Peggy was the woman who made her way to the national spotlight after saying how “we” (meaning blacks) would no longer have to pay their mortgage payment or pay for gas in their cars, well, because being a “brother,” Obama would do that for them.
Turns out their preconceived notions couldn’t have been any further from the truth – and not to say we told you so, but, we told you so.
After Gilbert managed to track down Peggy, you could say that her mindset on the matter had obviously changed. After having time to reflect on what she initially thought Obama would do for this nation, she explained during the interview, “He was not who we thought or expected him to be.”
She went even one step further explaining, “Truth and honesty are important. He lied about everything.”
Take a peek at the rest of the interview above and let us know what you thought of Ms. Joseph’s current thoughts on Obama in the comments below.
