For those of us who have paid enough attention to the phony Al Sharpton, it’s become abundantly clear that he’s in it for one thing and one thing only – the money. So when he decided to go up against America’s toughest sheriff, well, saying he caught a verbal beat down would be putting it politely.
The conversation came about during a heated interview on CNN where Larry King had on both Arpaio and Sharpton to talk about a proposed bill that would allow law enforcement with reasonable suspicion to ask for ID of anyone they thought to be in the country illegally. Of course, having to ruffle a few feathers, Sharpton once again hopped on the racism train and started tooting his horn.
However, due to his astounding ability to jump the gun before completely knowing all the facts, Arpaio has quite an easy time ripping into Sharpton. Now the reverend would have liked the conversation to follow suit of racial profiling, but as Arpaio explains:
This is just another tool that law enforcement can use to detect those here illegally–it’s now a misdemeanor. They can be arrested and put in jail.
We have a big problem in this state and across our nation. The federal government needs help.
And we’re here to help.
Sadly however, the government has made it a point not to do a thing with the influx of illegals that continue to flood our borders currently. I’d like to see where Sharpton stands on the matter now – you know, because we wouldn’t want to offend anyone.
