Marc Lamont Hill is a CNN contributor and big time leftist activist. He is also an Outkast fan, although they may not be his biggest supporters after what happened at their Staples Center performance recently.
Hill attended the show and was tweeting excited messages beforehand about how pumped he was to see Outkast:
“At Staples Center for Outkast show. Haven’t seen them in years. I’m hype!”
“Btw, if you’re not at the BET Experience, you’re missing a dope weekend!”
“This is one if the dopest hip hop sets I’ve heard in years. Outkast is MURKING this show.”
But the niceties didn’t last long, as Hill sent out another tweet when rapper Big Boi took the stage:
“So Big Boi is doing his solo set now. This is where the homie @bomani_jones turns up… and I check my email.”

The rapper didn’t take this insult lightly, and proceeded to call Hill a “bitch” on stage in front of the entire audience.
That’s when Hill began furiously tweeting in a desperate attempt to backtrack:
“I actually was just clowning my homie bc we had a debate about which Outkast member was better.”
“I been an Outkast (both of them) fan since ’94. Was teasing my homie and had no disrespect intended for @BigBoi.”
“I see how that tweet sounded and I get I was wrong for that.”
Well, we may have missed a ‘dope weekend’, but we certainly didn’t miss Hill’s little faux pas! Let us know what you think of Big Boi’s response to the insult in the comments section!
