Ben Carson Audited By IRS After He Gave Speech That “Offended” Obama

As Obama has beefed up big government, we, as Americans, have come to learn that the IRS is less of a financial agency and more the political sword of the current administration. Most recently it was discovered that after giving a riveting speech said to “offend” Obama, Ben Carson was miraculously and coincidentally audited by the IRS.
It was back in 2013, when Carson was asked to speak at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast and delivered his scathing speech which detailed, “the several of Obama’s policy stances including high taxation, out of control spending, and Obamacare,” according to the Conservative Tribune.
About a half hour after the conclusion of his speech, Carson received a call from the White House that was completely shocking. Although he explains that the call wasn’t threatening or hostile in nature, there was a demand made for Carson to come forward with a public apology.
After politely declining however, it wasn’t long before Carson discovered that he was the target of an IRS audit. According to NewsMax:
“I don’t have any proof that he [Obama] was involved,” said Carson. “I will say that I got multiple warnings from all kinds of people that I was going to get audited, and I’d never been audited before and nothing had changed . . . except that I gave a speech.”
“Could it have been a coincidence?” he said. “I guess it could’ve been, but I’ve talked to a lot of other people who had the same coincidence.”
So what do you guys think – coincidence or just another example of Obama abusing the power of his office? Let us know in the comments below.
