As the First Family is in the constant spotlight, they must make absolutely sure to calculate every word before it comes out of their mouths as it will surly be later critiqued. As it turns out, Michelle Obama recently uttered a little racial slur of her own – and in the times we live in regarding “tolerance,” well, we think you know where this is going.

As she spoke with reporters of the difficulties incurred as a working mother, it turns out, she may have inadvertently used the racial slur. Whining about your average workplace hardships – that of course, she was not deserving of – Michelle declared, “The first thing I tried to do, which was a mistake, was that I tried the part-time thing… I realized I was getting gypped on that front. What happened was I got a part-time salary but worked full time.”

BAM – did you hear it? As The Daily Caller explains:

The term “gypped” is a racial slur deriving from the word “gypsy,” a slur for the Roma. The slur to refers to the act of defrauding or robbing through practices such as swindling or cheating. The correct usage of the term is most certainly not synonymous to “slighted or “cut short.”

Now look, it may have been accidental – and in all reality the phrase has been so diluted through decades, and perhaps centuries, of overuse – but it’s not her fault. After all, it seems to be a common phrase used in the Obama household as in 2009, President Obama used the exact word in an Allentown, Pennsylvania town hall meeting back in 2009.

So, in all reality here, we could care less about this – but it goes more to prove exactly what Liberal tolerance stands for. If allowed to to progress any further, simple – and arguably innocent – words such as this could come with a costly penalty should you intentionally, or even accidentally, decide to use it.

What do you guys think – do people just need to pull up their big people undies and quit taking offense to every little thing, or is it right to condemn Michelle over her unintentional slur (after all, if the tables were reversed, you could bet your butt that the Left would be all over it)?
