A science blogger by the name of Steven Goddard has discovered that the two major authorities on climate change, NASA and NOAA, have been manipulating data in order to overstate the global warming scare of the 20th century.
On Real Science, Goddard posted a series of graphs which showed climate change both before and after the “adjustments” the two agencies made, which were nothing more than fabricated computer models. When just the raw data is used, the Earth is actually shown to have a cooling trend since the warmest decade on record in the 1930s.
Goddard points out that prior to the year 2000 it was the scientific consensus that there had not been any measurable warming on the Earth, and that in fact some cooling had taken place.
NASA’s James Hansen, who’s a climate alarmist along with Al Gore, said in a 1989 report “In the U.S. there has been little temperature change in the past 50 years, the time of rapidly increasing greenhouse gases — in fact, there was a slight cooling throughout much of the country.”
However some years later in the 2000s, when the global warming narrative started becoming popular, suddenly the temperatures for 1934 were cooler than previously reported and 1998 became the hottest year on record in order to push the myth. They also effectively reversed the previous data showing a flat or cooling trend and showed them increasing throughout the 20th century.
Goddard also notes that the EPA’s heatwave record data disproves the data that has been used by NASA and NOAA. It shows that the 1930s were without a doubt the hottest years recorded this century, and also that it was far worse than those recorded in the 80’s and 90’s.
It’s been suspected for some time by the “climate deniers” that the data being used has been fabricated ever since emails were discovered that revealed the “hockey stick” graph was a fraud. Christopher Booker, who’s a long-time skeptic of climate alarmists, summarized the situation perfectly:
“When I first began examining the global-warming scare, I found nothing more puzzling than the way officially approved scientists kept on being shown to have finagled their data, as in that ludicrous ‘hockey stick’ graph, pretending to prove that the world had suddenly become much hotter than at any time in 1,000 years. Any theory needing to rely so consistently on fudging the evidence, I concluded, must be looked on not as science at all, but as simply a rather alarming case study in the aberrations of group psychology.”
Do you buy into the data produced by NASA and NOAA or do you believe it to be a scam also? Let us know with a comment!
