In a clear demonstration of what exactly America is coming to as progressive agenda further infects society, government unions have begun to demand that fans Duck Dynasty be fired. As it stands, something as simple as putting a bumper sticker in support of the Christian family is able to get such an eager response these days.

Just ask the couple senior managers over at Eglin Air Force base in Florida who had bumper stickers reading, “Duck Dynasty: I Support Phil,” on their vehicles. According to the union that represents them, American Federation of Government Employees, this is a fireable offense in which they intend to act.

According to Alan Cooper, the union’s local chapter executive vice president, explained that the men not only put them on their cars, but offered them to anyone who wanted one. “We took offense,” Cooper noted. “These two particular individuals have a great amount of influence over individuals who may be gay, who may be African-American, and we have a concern they should not be in a position to exert that influence when it comes to promotions.”

The union VP further noted that, “Phil Robertson has made disparaging remarks against a vast array of people, which created a firestorm in the media in the recent past,” and that the sticker could be a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Either way, you’d think the First Amendment would trump that unless intentionally done out of hate.

Instead, Americans are now forced to put their religious beliefs and First Amendment rights on the backburner in order to make room for progressive tolerance. Let us know how ridiculous this is in the comments below.
