Philadelphia police said that an improvised explosive device was detonated next to a soda machine on Thursday and now they’re searching for the man responsible.
Surveillance footage shows a man placing something in the machine’s dispensing port then walking away. Minutes later the device explodes.
According to police, the explosion was so intense that it sent parts of the machine flying over 100 feet away and blew out the windows of nearby businesses.
Police believe the device to have been home made and are now concerned that whoever made it has bomb making skills and could strike again.
Anybody with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department.
