Iran Ignoring Nuclear Deal, To Have 50-100 Nuclear Warheads by 2024

It really shouldn’t come as a shock that Iran would renig on a deal it made with America, but recent reports could have serious implications if proven to be true. Despite promising not to refine uranium beyond 20%, Israeli intelligence agencies have predicted that Iran will have anywhere in between 50 and 100 nuclear warheads by 2024.

Now of course, Iran has yet to develop the technology, or even refine uranium enough to create even one nuclear warhead, but given their constant threats on America, such a development could be problematic. Iran has constantly made, what we view as empty, threats saying they would resort to any tactics just to utterly destroy America.

Unfortunately, if Iran ever did get their hands on such weaponry, it could prove catastrophic, not only for us, but Iran and possibly the world (if a nuclear third world war were to be sparked.) Israel, being another one of the select countries threatened by Iran, has recently expressed their concerns over their own projections on the matter.

Israel’s Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz recently voiced his adamancy that Obama not sign a, “bad deal,” with Iran in the upcoming months as it could turn out to be a, “nightmare scenario.” Given Obama’s devastating track record when it comes to foreign policy, it doesn’t take all that much to understand their worries.

The Jerusalem Post, recently reported that Steinitz said:

He said that in the event that the P5+1 group of world powers—US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany—sign an unsatisfactory deal with Iran that does not dismantle its nuclear program, the Islamic Republic could have 50-100 nuclear warheads by the year 2024. In addition to the nuclear bombs, Steinitz warned Iran would also possess ballistic missiles with the ability to reach western Europe and the east coast of the United States ten years from now.

Steinitz said in this scenario, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Turkey, and perhaps other Middle East states, would begin their own nuclear weapons programs in answer to Iran.

“It is a difficult scenario, but not an impossible scenario,” Steinitz stated.

So what do you think – could this be a possibility for Iran? Do you think them using nuclear warheads on America is a possibility should they develop the technological capabilities for this report to become a reality one day? Let us know your thoughts on the whole ordeal in the comments below.
