Taliban Claiming More Kidnappings To Come After Obama-Bergdahl Deal

Surprise, surprise – it appears as though the Taliban aren’t the honorable gentlemen that Obama took them for as they recently announced that they would be kidnapping more Americans after the recent release of 5 high-level terrorists.
As you’ve probably heard by now, Obama recently sprung the news on America that he was releasing 5 terrorists from Guantanamo Bay detention center in exchange for US deserter Bowe Bergdahl. Despite having clear evidence that he willingly abandoned his post, and even left a letter in which he denounced his U.S. citizenship, Obama went behind the back of America to go through with the controversial deal anyways.
However, although Obama claimed that he thought such a deal would open negotiations between America and terrorist organization, it appears as though this is going to blow up in his face in yet another way. According to recent reports, a major Taliban leader is now claiming they will step up their kidnapping operations in an attempt to achieve a few more deals just like the last.
As reported by TIME:
A Taliban commander close to the negotiations over the release of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl told TIME Thursday that the deal made to secure Bergdahl’s release has made it more appealing for fighters to capture American soldiers and other high-value targets.
“It’s better to kidnap one person like Bergdahl than kidnapping hundreds of useless people,” the commander said, speaking by telephone on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the media. “It has encouraged our people. Now everybody will work hard to capture such an important bird.”
So what do you think – is it time we can all agree that Obama is a complete and utter moron? Let us know in the comments below.
