With the frequency of reports that have surfaced of government agencies buying massive amounts of weapons and ammunition we can’t help but wonder why agencies like the BLM and the Postal Service need that kind of fire power or what it’s going to be used for. However a recent report by the Washington Times outlines not only how it would be used, but that in 2010 Obama issued a directive allowing the use of military force on Americans within the U.S. borders.
Directive No. 3025.18 is titled “Defense Support of Civil Authorities” and along with giving Obama the authority to use the force of the military against American citizens at home, it also allows military commanders to have the authority even if Obama isn’t around to authorize it in times of “civil unrest.”
The directive states that the use of “military force” is authorized when it’s “necessary to protect the federal property or functions.” It then lists the “military assistance” as including “loans of arms, ammunition, vessels and aircraft,” and clearly states that it’s to engage civilians during times of unrest, according to the Times.
It additionally authorizes the use of unarmed drones by the secretary of defense, however states that drone capable of firing missiles aren’t allowed.
As the report continues it addresses the heavy militarization of federal agencies and its impact on civil liberties under the Obama regime. It explained that defense analysts have been talking about the buildup of militarized units within agencies that have nothing to do with security, “notably the creation of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams.”
Such a buildup raises serious questions as to whether Obama is undermining civil liberties “under the guise of counterterrorism and counter narcotics efforts. This sentiment was also echoed by Edward Snowden in his interview with NBC on Wednesday night when he said the government “exploits” terrorism to abuse out liberty.
“Other agencies with SWAT teams reportedly include the Department of Agriculture, the Railroad Retirement Board, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Office of Personnel Management, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Education Department.”
“The militarization of federal agencies,” it continues. “Under little known statutes that permit deputization of security officials, comes as the White House has launched verbal attacks on private citizens’ ownership of firearms despite the fact that most gun owners are law-abiding citizens.”
The chilling details of this directive should be enough to make the hair on anybody’s neck stand up. Written in 2010, it really brings validity to the claims that military leaders who refused to fire on Americans were purged by Obama, and also getting rid of those who didn’t agree with Obama’s ideology.
As we learn more about what this regime has been doing and the actions that have been taken, it becomes remarkably clear that it’s planning for widespread civil unrest. The only question that remains is what will be the trigger that causes it.
