A 17-year-old teen brutally beat an elderly woman with her own walking stick during a home invasion.
Aaron Davis was jailed for more than ten years after being convicted of assaulting 89-year-old Jean McDougall then breaking into another home and leaving the elderly person in there for dead. What was he after? Money and jewelry.
He beat his first victim so hard that he knocked her false teeth out and broke her glasses.
McDougall suffered serious bruising around her eyes, face and upper arm, a laceration on her lip, bleeding on her brain, and a compression fracture on the top of her spine, to which she’s in pain from.
Davis pleaded guilty to three counts of grievous bodily harm with intent to kill, two counts of robbery, and two other counts of burglary. He was sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison plus another five years of probation on May 6 of this year.
Davis would knock on the front door of his victim’s homes, then once they answered the door he would push them to the ground and force his way into the home. With his first victim, he pushed her so hard she was knocked unconscious and he left her for dead.
The judge at the sentencing hearing told Davis “Your use of violence was gratuitous in the sense it was wholly unnecessary. You were intent on obtaining money because you wanted to show off to your friends.”
