Cliven Bundy called on all of his supporters this morning to meet him at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office to file criminal complaints against the Bureau of Land Management.
In a Facebook post, they said they would be showing up at 10 a.m. sharp and urged anybody who was at the ranch during the standoff to join them.
A portion of the post read “If you were with us at any of the events the week of April 5-12, when the BLM was threatening us all, we encourage you to join us and file a Criminal Report with the Clark County Sheriff’s office.
“Join us Tomorrow morning at 10am as we file our Criminal Reports at the Clark County Sheriffs office in Las Vegas NV. You do not need to be a resident of Clark County or the state of Nevada to file a Criminal Report.”
Carol Bundy, who posted the announcement, said that they’re going at 10 a.m. but told followers that the Sheriff’s Office is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and if they couldn’t make it when the Bundy’s were going that anytime within those hours would work fine. She also clarified that it’s not required to be a resident of Nevada in order to file a complaint.
Along with the announcement was a long list of grievances that she claims against the BLM and its agents.
Men blocking access to public land
Men blocking public roads
Men harassing people for taking photos
Men impersonating Police officers
Men claiming to be a police officer and refusing to show valid identification
Men threatening to use Tasers
Men threatening to fire upon unarmed civilians
Men using attack dogs
Men pointing weapons
She closed out her post explaining why they believe it’s important for everybody who’s able to go down and file a criminal report, noting that simply calling the Sheriff will not be effective.
