Rancher’s Daughter On Hannity: “More Worried About His Ratings”

As many public figures have decided to back away from the outward support of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy amidst his most racist claims, it seems that his family is none too pleased with the recent withdrawal. Speaking perhaps the loudest was none other than Bundy’s daughter, Shiree Bundy Cox, who chastised Fox News’ Sean Hannity for being, “more worried about his ratings,” than her father.

It’s no wonder why those who were openly backing Bundy, despite not knowing anything about him, turned tail as quick as possible after the rancher shot his mouth off. Explaining that blacks have effectively deteriorated society and were “better off” as slaves, the question as to why they no longer wanted to associate the man doesn’t even warrant the question.

Apparently Cox doesn’t feel this way as she recently wrote on her public Facebook page detailing her father’s racism saying:

“I’m sure most of you have heard the news about my dad being called a racist. Wow! The media loves to take things out of context don’t they? First off I’d just like to say that my dad has never been the most eloquent speaking person. Like someone said, he’s a Moses who needs an Aaron to speak for him. This is true. Second, however, is that the media has turned this into a circus side show. It’s like their trying to throw us off the real subject. Why was this ever even brought up? What does this have to do with land rights issues?”

Turning her hair trigger on Hannity, she went on to write:

“Sean Hannity was all for reporting the happenings at the Bundy Ranch until this popped up. I wonder if someone hoped it would be that way… By the way, I think Mr. Hannity is more worried about his ratings than he really is about what my dad said. If he supports a supposed racist, what will that do to his ratings? He’s already lost his #1 spot on Fox.”

Now, yesterday we reported of Glenn Becks recent dealings with Cliven Bundy, and needless to say, the persona he displayed is a far cry away from the one that he has portrayed himself to be. As Beck noted that he felt there was something a little off regarding Bundy, his recent claims didn’t shock Beck in the slightest.

However, Cox views what he had to say as a betrayal as she further noted:

“Glenn Beck was never 100% on board with my dad, but now he has an excuse to distance himself even farther. Could there be people out there who want it that way? Get the un main stream media out of the way from reporting this situation in a positive light and the battle is more than won for the opposing side.”

Of course, plugging a media outlet that is portraying Bundy in a more favorable light (and is a known governmental conspiracist website), one which Beck spoke out against in his aforementioned spiel, Cox urges:

“Instead of listening to the very liberal New York Times, please go to The Alex Jones Channel ‘Cliven Bundy responds to New York Times Racism Report’ and look up Kira Davis ‘I Don’t Care If Cliven Bundy is a Racist’. Both are on you tube.”

Bundy’s daughter concluded her letter by trying to justify her father’s words by saying, “Is my dad a racist. No, I really don’t think so. Could he have said what he means with a little more tact? Sure he could have. But most of all, should it even be an issue right now? Nope.”

So what do you guys think – is Bundy really a racist or were his words just perverted by the media? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
