A major contributor to both Obama and the Democrat party who was caught on video nearly killing his girlfriend in a savage beating has gotten off with just 25 hours of community service.
The CEO of San Francisco startup RadiumOne, Gurbaksh Chahal, was captured on surveillance video kicking his girlfriend 177 times, some of which were to the head, and also trying to smother her with a pillow in the brutal beating that lasted for 30 minutes.
As a result of his vicious attack, he faced 45 felony charges but caught a “lucky” break when the video of the assault was deemed inadmissible by the judge. So as a result of his break, he avoided jail time and pleaded guilty to domestic battery charges which came with a sentence of just 25 hours of community service.
Reports have also surfaced that the CEO had threatened to kill his girlfriend several times prior to attacking her.
Chahal has been a major donor to Democrats in the past, donating over $100,000 since 2011 and he donated $5,000 to President Obama’s reelection campaign.
According to the FreeBeacon, he has visited the White House twice, once on November 30, 2011 and the other on December 14, 2012. The first time was to visit with just Obama and the second was to visit both the President and First Lady.
He also attended a dinner in San Francisco in 2012 where he greeted Obama.
In addition to his personal ties with the President, he has another major Obama donor on his board of directors, Steve Westly, who came under fire after four separate companies that he had invested in received stimulus money while he sat on an advisory board that directed the disbursement of the money.
One has to wonder though, with the recent firing of Mozilla’s CEO over a donation he made years ago, do you think the same people who called for his ouster will be calling to boycott this company because of the actions of its CEO? That’s doubtful at best, and highly unlikely. After all he’s a Democrat, this probably won’t even make the main stream news.
