As the Nevada rancher situation calms down in the eye of the storm, there seem to be none other more peeved than Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Already expressing that the fight is, “not over,” he has most recently come forward to express that any supporters of Cliven Bundy, are nothing more than, “domestic terrorists.”
The comments were made during an interview with Las Vegas Review Journal’s Steve Sebelius. Reid stated that, “They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists,” as they stood up, in active defiance and placed their children’s lives in danger.
“I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism,” the egotistical tunnel-visioned man noted.
Now, there have been many reasons – more like speculation – as to why Reid seems to have his panties in the twist so hard over this. One of which claims that he and his son were in the process of making a deal with the Chinese over 600,000 acres of land.
The alleged $5 billion deal went up in flames as Bundy refused to remove his cattle from the land the Reid’s intended to sell to the Chinese for energy purposes. Of course, as this hasn’t been verified, this is merely, as stated before, speculation.

Reid further expressed his frustration by saying, “Clive Bundy does not recognize the United States. The United States, he says, is a foreign government. He doesn’t pay his taxes. He doesn’t pay his fees. And he doesn’t follow the law. He continues to thumb his nose at authority.”
Despite already having backed down, Reid mentioned his adamant stance on the matter by saying, “It is an issue we cannot let go, just walk away from.”
Attempting to play on the heartstrings of the public, he continued his deluded rant sharing, “There were hundreds, hundreds of people from around the country that came there. They had sniper rifles in the freeway. They had weapons, automatic weapons. They had children lined up. They wanted to make sure they got hurt first … What if others tried the same thing?”
Too bad for Reid his belly aching isn’t doing much good as the government has already expressed its intent to retaliate against Bundy through the courts from now on. It does however seem more than likely that federal agents will return once again, but until that time, I guess we’ll just have to see how this plays out.
What do you guys think – why does Harry Reid seem to find the most insignificant problems facing the government to whine about? It’s nice to see he’s managed to take a breather from his Koch addiction though. Let us know what you think of all of this by leaving a comment below.
