As the rancher standoff has been declared anything but over, it appears that Harry Reid has injected himself into a situation where he didn’t belong. As a result, Cliven Bundy has since ordered the Senate Majority Leader out of the state and back to D.C.
Earlier this week, Harry Reid was asked exactly what he thought about the rancher’s recent victory after the government had been ordered to stand down. In an insightful response perhaps indicative of what is to come, Reid stated, “Well, it’s not over. We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.”
Since that time, Bundy has had the opportunity to respond to the threatening like words of Reid as he appeared on Hannity. During that time, Sean Hannity had asked Bundy what his take was on the fact that Reid had declared the incident, “not over.”
In a bold statement, Bundy relayed, “I got something to say to Harry, ‘You know, Harry, Nevada citizens — we, the people — elected you to go back to United States Senate and take care of United States’ business, which might be something like defend us from foreign nations.”
As tensions are far from settled in the area, it seems that the government is still kicking up dust as reports indicate that a raid on the rancher’s property may be imminent. After being asked about the potential threat, Bundy noted, “Well, first they got to say, ‘Harry get your army out of Nevada. Get your army way from my ranch … and keep it out,’” Bundy said. “And if they come, we’ll deal with them tonight.”

The facts and outcome of the incident remain unclear at this point, but one thing is clear; it’s far from over. Even Congressman Trey Gowdy has announced that we analyze the actions of the government in order to prevent the accidental ignition of a civil war.
Either way, I guess the rest of us red-blooded Americans will just have to sit back and see how this all plays out. What do you think of this? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
