As we near one of the Christian faith’s most important holidays, a report comes out of the mid-west of more Muslim idiocracy. The city of Dearborn, MI is known for having an unusually high Muslim population – not exactly the best claim to fame I can think of. The city’s Muslims make up about one third of it’s total residents, but they do nearly 100% of all the Hell-raising when it comes to issues of fairness and equality. And by fairness and equality, I mean they expect the rest of the world to bow to their every whim.
The most recent example of this is a group of Muslim parents who are absolutely outraged that their childrens’ school distributed flyers for a local Easter egg hunt. Of course, the Easter egg hunt is in no way mandatory, and local schools go out of their way to recognize Muslim holidays, but nonetheless, Muslims are furious about the flyer. One parent, Majed Moughni, even went so far as to call the move unconstitutional. If this guy spent a little less time reading the Koran and a little more time studying up on the U.S. constitution, which, by the way, allows him the freedom to practice what he reads in that Koran, he would know that a flyer for an Easter egg hunt in no way violates the constitution.
Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, author of “A Battle For The Soul Of Islam”, said it best when he told Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Fox & Friends that the constitution guarantees freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. He explained on the morning news program:
“This is just the summit of hypocrisy. This demonstrates that they’ve lost all inhibitions in their cultural Jihad to find opportunities to continue to put Christians and the majority of Americans on the defense and it’s absurd.”
This is coming from a Muslim man who grew up in close proximity to the radicals who are up in arms over the Easter egg hunt flyer. Unfortunately though, I think the extremists are probably so far gone that even one of their own standing up in protest of their radical ideals will do little to sway them.
What’s your take on this? We say that if the Muslims want our nation’s schools to forgo flyers about Easter egg hunts then they can also forgo all of the exceptions made for Ramadan and other Islamic holidays. Give us your opinion in the comments section below!
