Next Up From The ‘White Privilege Conference’: Racism, Racism, And Oh, Racism

As you’ll recall, earlier in the week we brought you a story about the White Privilege Conference being held in Wisconsin with taxpayer dollars to brainwash educators into believing far left ideas.

The latest report to surface from the event being covered by the MacIver Institute is about a breakout session where a speaker lectured the crowd about how the Tea Party, those who don’t support Obama, and even people who send their children to private schools are racist, ridiculous right?

The speaker for the session was Leonard Zeskind, who’s both an author and an activist for the NAACP, and it focused on the racist roots of the Tea Party as well as white supremacy and how a limited government movement lost the Democrats control of the House of Representatives in 2010.

Zeskin seems to believe that the central driving force behind the Tea Party is the oppression of minorities, and even though he won’t actually call it a “hate group” he believes that’s what it is.

Of course, what liberal isn’t going to claim some sort of “fact” in order to back up their ridiculous statements?

“There’s been a recent academic study, and I say academic because people here are, most of you are academic something-or-the-others,” he explained.

He continued, “There has been a longitudinal study that finds the longer you are in the tea party, the more racist you become.”

He then drew a sharp comparison between the Tea Party and white supremacist groups.

“I think you call it for what it is. Is it racist? Yes.”

From there he said that members of the Tea Party strongly believe that their status has fallen because of their race, calling it “dispossession,” and trying to convince audience members that the reason for their outrage is the color of the President’s skin.

“That’s the funny thing about white privilege. These folks want it, but they don’t think they have it anymore, since the white monopoly on the presidency was broke, it’s not their country,” he explained.

As if everything else he spoke of wasn’t insane enough, he actually went even further than just the Tea Party, and said that people who enroll their children in private schools are racist as well.

He argued that white parents are racist and don’t want their children to be around black people so they “put their kids in little white academies.”

Zeskin encouraged audience members to check out the website for his Institute for Education and Research on Human Rights, which claims to “continue examining racist, anti-Semitic, and far right social movements, analyzing their intersection with civil society and social policy, and to educate the public and assist in the protection and extension of human rights through organization and informed mobilization.”

So what we can take from this speech is racism, then we’ll couple that with more racism, and when we’re done with those two we can add racism to the mix and that’s what the “problem” with white America is. It’s really odd that all of this is coming from a white person, think he’s ever heard of “white guilt?”

It’s nice to know that taxpayer money is being used to fund such outrageous conferences that do nothing more than infect people with radical liberal concepts. What’s even more comforting is that the ideas that are promoted there are brought back to the classrooms and passed on to our children.
