Piers Morgan Already Standing Atop The Bodies Of Fort-Hood Victims To Spew Anti-Gun Ideals

Although Piers Morgan has finally been kicked off the air as his anti-gun rants continued to plunge his ratings beneath CNN’s standards, we certainly haven’t heard the last of him.  After hearing yesterday’s Fort Hood tragedy, instead of giving his condolences, he took to using it as a platform for his anti-Second Amendment propaganda.

Taking to Twitter to share his frustration and disrespectful nonsense, he wrote, “‘If only there’d been a good guy with a gun…’ – such crap.  This #FortHood soldier/shooter WAS a good guy. Until he turned bad, with a gun.”

There’s only one flaw in Morgan’s argument here. As the facts continue to come forward, it was a good guy – or girl – with a gun that stopped him.  Weapons aren’t allowed on base, and the first person the gunman encountered that had a sidearm, was able to put him down like the rabid dog he was.

He also went on to add these gems:

Of course this kind of attitude is what we’ve come to expect from the left as they seem to solely care about their agenda.  Instead of paying their respects for a tragic situation, they use the bodies of the dead to play on emotion and resort to manipulation rather than intellectual debate.

Even as Piers was being kicked off the air for his unpopular ideals, he was still fighting the good fight.  Using every last second he had left on air, he chastised Americans and their guns saying, “And also I want to thank you all for watching, even those who implacably disagreed with me, or just found my funny accent annoying.  Regular viewers will know that the issue of gun control has been a consistent and often very controversial part of this show. And I want to say something more about that before I bow out.”

Trying to soften the blow before the final assault he added, “The vast majority of Americans I met are decent, hardworking, thoroughly dependable people. As my brother, a British army colonel says, you always want an American next to you in the trench when the going gets tough.”

Until he finally concluded, “But that’s where I think guns belong, on a military battlefield, in the hands of highly trained men and women, fighting for democracy and freedom, not in the hands of civilians.”  Once again, proving another flaw in Morgan’s ignorant argument.

This gun was in the hands of a “highly trained” man of our armed forces.  It’s unclear what Piers may have in mind for his next step, but disarming our military might be a comical point to watch Piers argue.  Let us know what you think of Piers inhuman standards by leaving a comment below.
