The body of Victoria’s Secret Supermodel, Miranda Kerr, has been acclaimed as, “one of the most envied in the world,” by many. Kerr recently sat down to share with GQ magazine that one of the major contributors to her physique is frequent sex.
The magazine, while having her in for a “steamy” photo session, took advantage of the model’s presence for a little interview. After having been asked how she manages to stay in shape, she attributed her sexual endeavors to keeping her body photo shoot ready.
Further explaining her theory on the matter, she relayed, “One thing I’ve noticed is now that I’m having less sex my body isn’t as toned.” She went on to say, “The more sex I have, the more defined my arms and stomach get.”
She did however note that sex wasn’t the only thing keeping her frame slender. She also expressed her 30-minute Yoga sessions, as well as her, “super healthy” diet, playing a major role in keeping her supermodel body tone.
According to the Daily Mail, “So while it may be slightly unrealistic to expect that amping up the bedroom antics will miraculously give you a body worthy of a Victoria’s Secret model, there is actually some evidence to back Miranda’s erotic body secret.”
As it turns out, although sex isn’t necessarily the most efficient form of exercise, there may be some truth to the runway girl’s claims. Medical experts have long since boasted the unseen advantages that an active sexual lifestyle can account for.
Describing that bedroom activities, “can slow down the ageing process, improve the immune system, boost circulation and help you live longer,” maybe there are more benefits than just the obvious.
A clinical neuropsychologist at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Dr David Week, has even taken to conduct a few tests on the matter to prove its veracity. After questioning over 3,500 women from ages 18 and 102, revealed that those, “who make love three times a week look between four and seven years younger than those who have less sex.”
Further boasting the discoveries of his studies, he mentioned, “Sex is an excellent aerobic exercise because it raises the heart beat and pumps oxygen around the body which improves the immune system, boosts circulation and keeps you lean.”
Apparently those who have sex, on average, twice a week, can burn from 100 to 250 calories per session and up to 5,000 calories a year – that’s comparable to a slow-paced 50 mile run.
