Ex-CBS journalist Sharyl Attkisson has created a website that’s going to be dedicated to exposing the truth on many national issues like Obamacare, Fast and Furious, and Benghazi, amongst other things.
She resigned from her long standing position at the media giant earlier in the month and it’s left many people speculating as to what her reasoning was. Some have said it’s because they were too liberal and others said it’s because they wouldn’t allow her to report the truth. However a look at her new site, SharylAttkisson.com should provide people with plenty of insight as to what the problem truly was, and shed light on the problem with media as a whole.
In giant bold letters across the middle of the site the phrase “Resisting undue corporate, political and other special interests” appears, letting us all know that there’s more at play than meets the eye regarding her resignation.

It’s not a very complex site, but it’s packed with information from her years of journalism and investigation into contentious issues we’ve seen come out of this administration, with individual tabs for Green Energy Going Red, Fast and Furious Scandal, Benghazi, Medical & Vaccines, and Healthcare.gov.
She never gave a solid reason as to why she left the network when she resigned, although she did so with grace and said she was grateful, calling her job there “one of life’s great privileges” in a prepared statement.
Shortly after her departure, reports came out about her being fed up with the network itself. Politico had cited an unnamed source that told them she “had grown frustrated with what she saw as the network’s liberal bias, an outsized influence by the network’s corporate partners and a lack of dedication to investigative reporting.”
Her new site promises to deliver readers “fearless reporting” on subjects that are generally “untouchable” by the corporate media in America. She never specified as to whether or not this will be her main focus, however with the slogan of the site being as powerful as it is and her obvious outrage at the way news is reported it’s probably safe to say that she’ll be putting most of her efforts into it.
Her Facebook page also says “Investigative journalist who tries to give you information others don’t want you to have. What you do with it is your own business. Do your own research. Seek advice from those you trust. Make up your own mind.”
There has been plenty of positive feedback to the news of her new site, which she actually says was started in 2013 and never publicized:
