Normally we’re seeing maps of how well your state does in any given area or maps having to do with political topics, however this time we’re going to show you what your state is the worst at. Created by Redditor bigafricanhat, this map was compiled using a “variety of sources” but the creator also said that they took some liberties in its creation where states came in dead last in multiple categories.
Some of the findings may shock you and some will more than likely cause you to say “Well I’m not really surprised,” like Maryland having the most cursing or California being the worst state for business. However there are some that are rather surprising in there, like Alaska having the highest firearm death rate and Louisiana having the highest murder rate (I thought for sure that would have been Illinois and with all the hunters in AK you would think everyone knew about firearm safety).
My state of North Carolina has the most teen driving deaths, which if you’ve ever been here then you would know why that is so that’s not a surprise at all. One state that did surprise me is Ohio having the most air pollution, especially with California having smog filled mornings where people can’t see.

The vast and sparse lands of Wyoming probably contribute to its having the highest rate of suicide in the country, and Oklahoma should be ashamed that they have the lowest rate of adults who visit the dentist. You guys like being able to eat out there?
With the liberal state of New York’s lax definition of what a “hate crime” actually is, nobody should be surprised that it’s number one for the most religious hate crimes since it’s probably number one for hate crimes of any type. That’s what happens after decades of liberal democrats running the joint.
I always thought the Amish were non-violent types, but Pennsylvania has the most deaths due to arson. Maybe they like to burn things down rather than confront people?
Well enjoy poking fun at each other and tormenting relatives who may live in another state. After all, there’s not one state that should be any more proud than another with this map.
