It appears that the population of those fed up with Obama’s narcissistic agenda is increasing by the day.  Not only are citizens solely the ones upset as now even entire states wish to see Obama’s Socialist progression slowed, if not stopped entirely.  In coming to such a realization, several states have sought to do just that as a movement known as the “Convention of the States,” is gaining quite a bit of traction.

It started out as quiet mutterings throughout the nation until the idea was finally introduced allowing for those muttering to collaborate into a deafening voice.  Giving Obama protesters a platform to stand upon, the movement has allowed for individuals to participate in a joint operation to limit Obama’s ever growing and powerful government.

According to the Capitalism Institute, an increasing number of states are unifying in hopes to draw up and pass an, “Article V Constitutional Convention in order to introduce a balanced budget amendment, term limits for federal officials, and reining in the power of the federal government.”

As Regan once said, “No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.”  Knowing that this is exactly the case, the movement has come to involve several states in a unified effort to slow Obama’s apparent tyrant evolution.

As the movement continues to gain speed, it appears that the movement may have a long way to go as usually it is Congress that passes legislation.  Seeing how congress’s approval rate is at an all time low, of a measly 9%, the states have taken it upon themselves to do something.

Of course, this way takes quite a bit more support requiring an astounding 2/3 of state’s approval, or at least 34 states, in order to even propose an amendment.  After this happens, they need ¾ of the nation, or at least 38 state’s approval in order to pass it.

Although it has only been two months since the “Convention of the States” movement was initiated, it seems to be exploding at an astounding rate.  In just that short time, multiple states have joined the project including, Alabama, Georgia, Arizona, and Missouri amongst others.

It is a wondrous thing to see so many patriots banding together against a man seeking to promote total tyranny in effort to do something about it.  We’ll just have to wait and see how far this is allowed to progress before being demonized by Obama’s lapdogs.
