A video is going viral showing a woman, who is now being revered as the “brave German woman,” protesting an Imam’s call to prayer inside a Christian church. Apparently motivated by God and the hypocrisy of the religion of peace, she noted that she “had to do something.”
After hearing about a supposed, “interfaith concert to bring Christianity and Islam together,” the woman, actually named Heidi Mund asked God for guidance on what to do. As time and her conscience ate away at her she decided that she would drive an hour and half away to the Memorial Church of the Reformation in the Rhineland city of Speyer, Germany, in order to protest.
As the Imam began his call to prayer, Mund, high in a balcony, began building up with what she is referring to as, “holy anger,” that resulted in her outburst. Not too long after, she explains she, “rose with my flag and I was calling and proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord over Germany.”
Standing above the crowd of gatherers, Mund waving her flag that read “Jesus Christ is Lord.” She took to the famous words of Martin Luther when the Monarch demanded he recant his claims of faith to which he answered, “Here I stand. I can do no other.” She shouted that the church was of Christian origin and that a man preaching the word of another god was nothing short of an abomination.
A fellow concert attendee was quick to try and silence Mund by saying, “This is a concert for peace.” Thinking quick on her feet, the brave German woman replied, “No it’s not! Allahu Akbar is what Muslims scream while murdering people!” Turning back to the audience she cried, “Don’t be fooled! Don’t be fooled! This is a lie!”
She was forcefully removed from the church and thrown off the property.
As the video showing the petite woman went viral, reporters were quick to request an interview—an inquiry in which she obliged. Speaking to local news, Mund explains, “My purpose was, I broke this curse because [Muslims] say, ‘Only Allah is the Lord. He is God, the only God.’ And I broke this curse in this church and I broke it over my country.”
She goes on to convey her strong feelings about the incident and the Christian church and insists, “They should have thrown the imam out and not me because I am a believer in Jesus Christ, but he serves another god. This Allah is not the same god. And this is not the truth.”
Mund went on to say that Muslims shout “Allahu Akbar” when they murder the innocent in the name of sacrifice to a god she calls a “false idol.”
Mund states that she believes that on a human level, her country of Germany has been lost on a religious level but professes that she will always remain faithful in God. She goes on to say that even amongst the current firestorm of threats, she remains comforted by God’s word. She relays, “Many people ask me, ‘Are you afraid of the Muslims?’ And I can only say, ‘No, I’m not afraid of them.’ I know my God, the living God of the Bible can protect for me for as long as he wants. When my time is over I will go to him.”
