Kentucky resident, Susann Stacy was recently in an altercation with her husband when he grew upset because she was on the phone with another man. Stacy was a little shocked to see her husband escalate to the point of going and retrieving his pistol.
Fortunately—for lack of a better word—her husband, Donnie Stacy didn’t want to kill her but did end up savagely beating her. Striking her face with the handle of a pistol, better known as pistol whipping, Donnie took his frustration out on his wife.
As he left in a furious rage, he made sure to rip out the phone to delay his wife from getting in touch with emergency services. His weapon was also found discarded underneath a tire swing on the property that his son frequently swings on.
Susann though, thought to do something most people wouldn’t. Taking to social media, Susann took a selfie and posted her battered, bruised and bloody face with a simple three words on Facebook. “Help….please anyone.”
Within a few moments of being notified, Susann’s friends contacted police and they showed up.
Police noted that upon arrival, “She had several lacerations to the head. They appeared to be bad but we really couldn’t tell at the time, due to her hair was matted to her, and the blood.”
Police later found Donnie a little ways down the street where he was apprehended, arrested and charged.
