Amidst the homosexual controversy, it appears as if the Duck Dynasty franchise has no attempts to slow its success, and more importantly, its financial growth down. The family has recently banded together with a gun company to come out with its own line of guns.
Labeling the gun line as the Duck Commander series, Mossberg has agreed to come out with nine different shotguns, two semi-automatic rifles and a semi-automatic pistol bearing the brand. All the guns are set to come out in a waterfowl pattern’ camouflage design of course seeing that the family primarily hunts duck.
Along with the weapon usually used in the hunting of water fowl, Mossberg has announced that they will be releasing, two “military-style,” .22 rifle as well as an AR-15-based .22 pistol.
The .22 caliber rifle is set in an AR-15 style similar to Mossberg’s original International 715T rifle—of course it will be dressed in the iconic camo wearing the Duck Commander brand.
It sounds as if the family made the right choice as Mossberg’s slogan reads, “Built Rugged. Proudly American.”
