Little Delaney Brown is an 8-year-old who doctors think may not have long to live. She is suffering from a rare form of Leukemia and may not make it to Christmas. But little Delaney had a wish. She wanted to hear some Christmas carolers come to her house to sing her some Christmas songs.

Come they did, and by the thousands, too.

The crowd kept growing and growing.

On her Facebook page little Delaney wrote, “I can hear you now!!! Love you!”

Saturday’s huge carol sing-along came the day after Delaney turned 8-years-old.

On her birthday she also had another wish fulfilled when country star Taylor Swift spoke to her via video chat.

The stricken girl barely had enough strength to give a thumbs up, but she loved her concert.

The family also wrote the sad news about Delaney’s condition on that same Facebook page.

“Today we were told the worst news of our lives,” wrote Delaney’s mom Jennifer Brown. “Laney has 70% cancer cells in her blood. If they would treat the cancer the virus that she has would kill her. And if they treat the virus the cancer will kill her.”

Moths ago she had more strength.
