They may say that history is written by the victors, but a more accurate saying would be history can be rewritten by educators. In a land that is subpar in our efforts to educate our children, Democrats are doing the best to make sure that you can’t home school your child. In other words, they want to force our failing education system on all households regardless of their beliefs or rights.
I’m sure you all remember the tampon wearing liberal MSNBC new host, Melissa Harris-Perry—the woman that claims Obama has fixed our economy and that the term Obamacare is like calling Obama a n****r. Well, she’s at it again, this time telling parents that we have no rights over our children and that they are property of society.
She said, “We have to break through our private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.”
Maybe she should take the tampons out of her ears and let her brain breathe a little.
Apparently she isn’t along though, as Ohio Sen. Capri Cafaro—a Democrat of course—has release a bill that if passed would almost make it impossible for parents to home school their children. The bill also protects public schools that fail to properly educate our children and in fact act more as a brainwashing center pushing liberal ideals.
In today’s curriculum, educators urge students that the, “Constitution is “outdated” and must be “revised” to better serve the interests of homeland security.” Parent have also been outraged after students recently came home explaining to their parents that the Second Amendment as, “the right to keep and bear arms in a state militia.”
The public education system has proven time and time again that it is a way in which the government can indoctrinate children into their way of thinking. After all, what better people to target than the trusting children soon to be the adults of the world. Children are easily to manipulate and schools have the ability to teach what they want because children don’t know any better.
It is a complete and utter failure on all levels.
The Senate Bill 248 as introduced would require all homeschooling parents to become licensed through the state. Not only this, but they would have to go through extensive background checks and in-person interviews. Any parents found to be on record of a child welfare investigation, regardless of the outcome, would automatically be rejected as suitable teachers for their children. The children would then be mandated to go to a public school.
The bill of course states to be, “in the best interests of the children.” Hitler explained it best when he said, “The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.” Who would argue against anyone saying their idea is in the best interest of the children?
The Home School Legal Defense Association is fighting back though, saying, “This bill is breathtaking in its attempt to impose unreasonable government intrusion on Ohio families.”
Hopefully this bill doesn’t go any further than the unfortunate thought has been allowed to be already. Parents have the right to decide what is best for their children—period.
