US Official: Edward Snowden ‘Stole Everything, Literally Everything’

Famed National Security Agency hacker Edward Snowden stole vastly more secret information than was previously thought, U.S. officials in the Department of Defense are now saying.

A new report claims that Snowden has a vast cache of information that he is holding back and using as a bargaining chip for his own personal safety.

Saying, “He stole everything–literally everything,” a DOD official told the Daily Caller that if Snowden released everything he has, “What’s floating is so dangerous, we’d be behind for twenty years in terms of access.”

In November, officials in Britain and the US speculated that Snowden had a “doomsday cache” of intelligence that he’d release if threatened. This cache may contain the names of undercover operatives, officials fear.

Sources have reported that “the worst was yet to come” with the files Snowden has in his possession.

Authorities speculate that Snowden has given others the encrypted files with instructions to release the info if he is killed or taken into custody.

Regardless of all this speculation, though, the Obama White House has reiterated its intention to prosecute Snowden if he is ever apprehended.
