5 Examples Of The War On Christmas This Year

There has been a lot of attention to Christmas and the meaning behind it, but the question still stands; Is there a war on Christmas?  Here are just five examples that prove that liberals are out to shut down at least the religious meaning behind the holiday.

1.) Atheists Place Beer Can Pole In the Middle Of A Nativity Scene In Retaliation Against Christianity

Atheists in Florida spitefully desecrated a nativity scene by erecting a metal pole made of beer cans in the middle of the Christmas display.  They claim that the pole represents their fictitious and made-up holiday titled “festivus.”  The act was described as a way to speak out against Christian relations to the holiday and a demonstration of the freedom of religion.

2.) Elementary School Administration Tears Christmas Cards Off Walls

Students at a Georgia Elementary School had returned from Thanksgiving break to see that someone had stolen their Christmas card display in their classroom.  Come to find out, they weren’t stolen but taken down by school administrators.  The school explained their actions by saying that the cards had the words “Christmas,” and “nativity,” on them which may be considered offensive.

3.) Texas School Bans Not Only Christmas Trees But The Colors Red And Green Too

A school in Texas has banned using the word “Christmas,” Christmas trees and even the colors red and green from their “winter party.”  The ban has come in direct violation of a new law passed by Gov. Rick Perry that allows the celebration of Christmas anywhere—especially schools.  The school justifies their actions by saying that since so many people donate to the school, they didn’t want anyone to be offended.

4.) Little Girls Kicked Out of Grocery Store for ‘Offending’ Customers With Christmas Carols

Two girls were thrown out of a grocery store in Wisconsin after they were singing Christmas carols to passerby customers. The store explained that they did not want any customers leaving because they were offended.  The girls were allowed to stay so long as they weren’t spreading any Christmas cheer.

5.) Wyoming Town Limits Christmas Displays to Only 14 Days

A town in Wyoming has declared that Christmas decorations are only to be displayed for 14 days of the Christmas month.  The rule applies to all churches and local business owners as law makers explain it is out of, “fairness.”

The war on Christmas is really becoming a nuisance for those that would rather just enjoy the season.  It’s hypocritical nature is disgusting as atheists set out to disrupt a religions because they feel Christianity during Christmas is disrupting their right to not believe.  Why do they not understand that without Christ, there would be no CHRISTmas? And that without Christmas, we wouldn’t even be having this discussion?
