Meet The Woman Who Might Become Trump’s Vice President

With Donald Trump being named the presumptive GOP presidential nominee this week, speculation has shifted as to who he will name as his running mate. Though many names have been thrown out as Trump’s potential Vice President, one name is being discussed more than any other.
According to Mediaite, Iowa Senator Joni Ernst is seen by many as the perfect person to be Trump’s running mate. She first gained national attention when she released this hilarious ad during her successful 2014 senatorial campaign.
“I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm. So when I get to Washington, I’ll know how to cut pork,” she famously said.
Even liberals like Ernst.
“She seems nice. Not New Jersey nice or California nice, but Iowa nice, which anyone who has ever stepped foot in Iowa knows is really, really nice,” CNN‘s Dana Bash wrote of Ernst in January.
It would be in Trump’s best interest to name a woman as his running mate, since that would make it more difficult for Hillary Clinton to play her infamous “woman card” against him. At 69 years of age, Trump will also likely name a younger person as his potential Vice President. Ernst is a physically fit 45 year-old who can likely help Trump pull in younger voters.
Do you think Ernst would be a good choice for Trump? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
