Michelle Obama’s Latest Move Will Make You SICK

Any tribute to Michelle Obama, who is arguably the worst first lady of all time, is sure to make us sick. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened this week when Long Beach City Council voted to rename the North Branch Library the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library.
According to the IB Post, the motion was approved in a 6-0 vote after the proposal was first made late in 2015.
Many argued that Michelle Obama was too far removed from the community to receive this honor. Others pointed out that Michelle has not advocated for literacy nearly as much as her predecessor Laura Bush did. After all, Laura did start the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries, but the liberals of this community are conveniently ignoring this fact.
The main proponent of naming the library after Michelle has been Ninth District Councilman Rex Richardson, who seems to be an Obama minion to his core.
“Libraries should inspire the next generation to reach higher and that’s what we should be doing,” Richardson said. “This library is not just a monument to someone, this should be a catalyst for the next generation.”
“Our young people need role models and leaders that will inspire them to continue in their endeavors to better themselves, improve their lives and that of their families and community,” Congresswoman Janice Hahn wrote in a letter supporting the naming proposal. “Every time anyone looks at the name of the library, they will be encouraged and inspired to continue striving towards greatness.”
Frankly, I would never bring my child to a library named after Michelle Obama. SHARE this story if you agree!
