For decades now, Chick-fil-A has resisted pressure from liberals to open their doors on Sundays. Instead, they have kept their doors closed on that holy day to honor Jesus Christ and give their Christian employees time to pray.

Last Sunday, however, they broke this policy for the first time, but you’ll applaud them when you find out why.

On Saturday night, a series of tornados descended on the northern Texas cities of Rockwall, Rowlett and Garland, and the damage was catastrophic. Many were killed, and homes, churches, and schools were all torn apart. On Sunday morning, responders arrived to help whoever they could.

According to Q Political, Chick-fil-A opened their doors on Sunday to pass out food and drinks to these responders during the cleanup. The post announcing this on Facebook quickly went viral, garnering 85,000 likes and more than 25,000 shares.
