Al Sharpton’s Daughter Announces She Is Suing New York City For $5 Million For This

Like father, like daughter…

Legendary race baiter Rev. Al Sharpton’s daughter, 28 year-old Danielle Sharpton, has announced that she is suing New York City for $5 million for “uneven pavement” after she fell and sprained her ankle late last year.

The membership director for her father’s National Action Network has filed the lawsuit with the departments of Transportation and Environmental Protection claiming that Danielle “still suffers and will continue to suffer for some time physical pain and bodily injuries.”

“I sprained my ankle real bad lol,” she wrote in an Instagram post after the Oct. 2 fall.

Despite the fact that Danielle claims she suffered “permanent physical pain” from the incident, photos from that time period show her partying in high heels and even climbing a ladder to decorate a Christmas tree.

Danielle also recently posted a photo of her lavish vacation to Bali, where she hiked up a mountain.

It’s awfully fishy that Danielle’s lawsuit is for $5 million when her father currently owes $4.5 million to the IRS in unpaid state and federal taxes…Perhaps this is a last ditch effort for the family to climb there way out of debt. Reverend Sharpton, however, has pleaded ignorance on this entire case.

“She’s 29 years old. Why would she have to talk to me about that?” he said of Dominique, whose mother is his ex-wife, Kathy. “I just know that she was hurt and that she got a lawyer and she’s a grown woman. [Where] she goes from there, I have no idea.”

Records show that claims like this are very common in New York City. Because Danielle fell in a crosswalk, her case would be classified as a “defective roadway” claim. New York City received 774 of these claims in 2014 alone.
