Officer Who Choked Eric Garner Reveals His Side Of The Story, and It May Surprise You

Last week, a New York grand jury decided not to indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo for the death of Eric Garner.

Garner’s death was captured on a viral video that showed the officer put him in an illegal chokehold and throw him to the ground. Garner famously shouted, “I can’t breath!” before dying of a heart attack.

Since the jury released their decision, “I can’t breath!” protests have spread throughout the country. As for Pantaleo, he has remained silent about the entire incident: until now.

The officer told investigators that he never used a chokehold on Garner. Instead, he called what he did a “takedown maneuver” that he learned as a rookie cop.

“He indicated he never used a chokehold,” said attorney Stuart London, who was present at Pantaleo’s interview with investigators. “He used a takedown technique he was taught in the academy. He said he never exerted any pressure on the windpipe and never intended to injure Mr. Garner.”

London went on to explain that Pantaleo was just trying to apprehend “someone who was non-compliant.” The lawyer concluded by saying that the interview went very well, and that his client, “was confident and related the facts in an accurate and professional manner.”

This is a very different version of events than the mainstream media would have us believe. Perhaps if those race-baiters dropped their pitchforks for one second and actually looked at the facts, they would see that there are two sides to every story.
