Pastor Says “I Pray You Commit Suicide” to Gay Man, Then This Happens

Liberals everywhere are outraged after a New Zealand pastor slammed a gay author, and said that he was praying for his death.
Pastor Logan Robertson was responding to an appeal made by Jim Marjoram, who emailed 400 churches about his new book It’s Life Jim, which details his lifetime struggle with being a gay man in a church. The book advocates for churches to be more gay-friendly, but Pastor Robertson wasn’t having any of it.
“We are not interested in your filthy lifestyle or your book,” Robertson wrote, adding that the “Bible clearly says God has rejected homos.”
“They [gay people] are worthy of death…You can not be saved,” the pastor finished. “I pray that you will commit suicide, you filthy child molesting f***.”
Marjoram posted the email to Facebook, and it quickly went viral. Despite the brutal words, Marjoram says he has no anger or hate for Robertson.
“The only thing I could say is what you’re preaching isn’t love,” he said of the pastor. “And if you call yourself a Christian… Jesus wouldn’t go anywhere near that.”
As for Pastor Robertson, he stands by his email despite the backlash he has received from liberals.
“The Bible says gay people will die and go to hell,” the pastor said. “I don’t agree with the lifestyle and the Bible condemns it.”
What do you think about this? Was Pastor Robertson right, or did he go too far? Sound off in the comments below!
