Obama Enrages Chinese at International Summit by Doing This

Obama was widely criticized after being caught on camera chewing gum during the D-Day ceremonies in France as Queen Elizabeth II was introduced. The Washington Times noted, “The words ‘shameful’ and ‘vulgar’ were thrown around as social media networks lit up with outrage at Mr. Obama’s display.” Considering as much, one would think he had learned his lesson. Not so, apparently.

Once again, Obama has caused international uproar and offended his host nation with his blatant gum-chewing. He showed up at the economic summit in Beijing looking like a cow chewing cud. The summit was billed as the biggest international event in the Chinese capital since the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

Obama picked arguably the worst country to offend with his Nicorette addiction, considering the highly formal standards of the Chinese. The Internet immediately blew up with criticism over his rude behavior amidst the lavish festivities put forth by the Chinese. Furious citizens called Obama a “careless rapper” and an “idler.”

“We made this meeting so luxurious, with singing and dancing, but see Obama, stepping out of his car chewing gum like an idler,” said Professor Yin Hong of Tsinghua University.

During the six months leading up to the APEC Summit, the communist country had launched an initiative to inspire their people to brush up on their manners, so Obama’s faux pas was doubly offensive considering the Chinese’s intensive effort to appear totally polished.
