After being left by Obama to rot in a filthy Mexican prison for over six months, Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi is back on U.S. soil. He was released on Friday, October 31. Lawyers for the Marine were able to convince a judge that Tahmooressi must be released due to a little-known Mexican law which states prisoners cannot be held if adequate medical care is not available to them. Tahmooressi suffers from severe PTSD, which Mexican prisons are unequipped do deal with. Here are some shots of the hero’s homecoming:

Republican Rep. Matt Salmon of Arizona, who was a vocal champion of Tahmooressi’s cause, was on hand on Friday night to welcome him home.

Obama ignored a petition signed by thousands of Americans asking the President to sign an executive order to secure the release of Tahmooressi.

Obama could not be bothered to access his notorious pen and paper to arrange Tahmorressi’s release any sooner. Do you think it’s just a coincidence that he was freed a few day before the election? Tell us if you find this suspicious in the comments section.
