Up until a few months ago, Jacqueline Laurent-Auger was a respected teacher at an all-boys Christian school in Montreal, Canada. However, her world came crashing down this summer when her porn star past came back to haunt her.

Officials at the Cote-des-Neiges Academy were shocked to discover that back in the 1970s, Laurent-Auger was an internationally known porn star who appeared in soft-core pornographic films for over a decade.

Some of Laurent-Auger’s films include Swedish Sex Games, Hot and Naked and The Secret Diary of a Nymphomaniac. After she left the porn industry, the now 73 year-old became a drama teacher and had been teaching at the Christian school for 15 years when students located her filmography page at Imdb.com.

The website listed all of her screen credits, including many explicit porn titles. When the school found out, they immediately took action.

“The availability on the Internet of erotic films in which she acted created an entirely new context that was not ideal for our students,” the academy said in a statement. “After discussion and reflection, we concluded that adult films must remain just that, a product for adults. That’s why we decided not to renew Mrs. Laurent-Auger’s contract.”

However, in a surprising twist, Laurent-Auger may be getting her job back. When the story initially broke, there was a strong backlash from students and random citizens who felt that Laurent-Auger was being unfairly treated.

Amazingly, the former porn star now says that she is meeting with school officials next week to potentially return to her position. Laurent-Auger also expressed her gratitude to her students for standing up for her, and urged the world to “talk with our heart and not anything else.”

What do you think of this story? Should Laurent-Auger be allowed to return to her teaching position at a Christian school? Sound off in the comments below!
