Blonde Country Girl Converts To Islam, Then THIS Happens

Until a few weeks ago, Jennifer Williams was a self-described normal “blonde tattooed Texas girl,” but then she made a life changing decision: she converted to Islam.

Last week, Jennifer drew national outrage when she tweeted about her conversion to Islam. Now, she is having second thoughts about her decision after some of her tweets came to the attention of Muslim extremists.

She told reporters that “a healthy number” of her twitter followers “are Islamic extremists, including no small number of supporters of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).”

“A lot of them live in Saudi Arabia,” Jennifer wrote in a blog post. “And some of them want to marry me.”

Jennifer quickly realized that most of her violent new fans came to her courtesy of a single tweet she sent out about Muslim extremism:

“My tweet went viral — at last check, it had been retweeted more than 11,300 times — and I soon began to notice a disturbing trend: of the thousands of people who were retweeting and following me, many of them had the black flag of ISIS as their Twitter profile photos,” she wrote.“Others had pictures of themselves holding swords, standing in front of the black ISIS flag. Uh-oh.” Jennifer admits that another tweet of hers may have given her followers the impression that she supports ISIS:

Despite the fact that she quickly tweeted a clarification, the damage was already done. To many Muslim extremists, Jennifer had become a poster girl as a sexy, American ISIS supporter.

Users have told Jennifer that she is now “famous” in Saudi Arabia and that her conversion story is being used “as propaganda by Salafis in Arabic-language social media circles.” Jennifer, however, isn’t having any of it and claims that she is dismayed by her newest claim to fame.

“I, for one, do not appreciate having my conversion story used to attract more people to a repugnant ideology that spawns suicide bombings and beheadings.”

Jennifer pointed out that she is a supporter of gay rights and that she regularly tweets against ISIS, but the radical Islamists seem to be ignoring these small details.

Jennifer suggests that radical Muslims drop their weapons and instead read the koran. She believes that Islam is a peaceful religion, and if ISIS would just go back to basics, the conflicts would be over.
