Boston Bombers’ Mosque Tied To MAJOR Terrorist Organization

September 8, 2014 11:31am PST

As news broke over a year ago from now that two Muslim brothers had been discovered complicit in the Boston bombings, the mosque that the two had attended quickly condemned their actions. However, after a bit of investigative journalist, the New York Post was able to discovered 8 different members with direct ties to ISIS.

Immediately after the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Islamic Society of Cambridge, Massachusetts (where the two had worshipped) was quick to reference an incident where they’d spoken out against an extremist rant delivered by brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Saying that they’re church did not represent the ideals of extremists, it appears they may not have been entirely truthful as their track record proved to be.

According to the New York Post just a few of the men discovered to attend the mosque are as follows:

Abdurahman Alamoudi, the mosque’s founder and first president, who in 2004 was sentenced to 23 years in prison for plotting terrorism. In 2005, the Treasury Department issued a statement saying Alamoudi raised money for al Qaeda in the US.

Aafia Siddiqui, an MIT scientist-turned-al Qaeda agent, who in 2010 was sentenced to 86 years in prison for planning a New York chemical attack. Known as “Lady al Qaeda,” she is related to 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed. ISIS has tried to trade her release for journalist hostages.

Tarek Mehanna, who in 2012 got 17 years in prison for conspiring to use automatic weapons to murder shoppers in a suburban Boston mall.

Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a mosque trustee and Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood leader banned from the US after issuing a fatwa that called for the killing of US soldiers.

Jamal Badawi, another former trustee who in 2007 was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a plan to funnel more than $12 million to Palestinian suicide bombers.

Furthermore, the Post details that a top propagandist for ISIS, Ahmad Abousamra, also attended the Muslim house of worship as well. Along with this, his father even was a member of the board of directors that actually ran the mosque who stepped down after the FBI began looking into his son.

According to reports, Abousamra, 32, traveled to Pakistan and Yemen in order to be trained so that he could kill Americans while using the cover of his Boston University attendance to gain entry into the nation. The Islamic Society itself says that it teaches the peaceful word of Allah and that those involved in extremism were fed by online forums, but not everyone is so sure.

As described by the Post, “Charles Jacobs, head of Boston’s Americans for Peace and Tolerance, says the mosque has hosted pro-jihad speakers and has stocked its library with classic jihadi texts — including writings by Osama bin Laden mentor Syed Qutb.” Furthermore, the mosque has been said to fundraise for the defense of terrorists in effort to gain a more lenient sentence for crimes committed against America.

Although many are quick to argue the coincidental nature in all of this, many are urging what we’ve heard so many times before – “there’s no such thing as coincidence.” If it happens to be chance, how many instances does it take before coincidence can no longer be argued – 8 seems like an awfully definitive number indicative of such.
