KISS frontman Gene Simmons sat down with Fox News for an interview and he had some unforgiving words for Obama. Speaking specifically of U.S. relations with Russia, Simmons said:

“I think that our president is not being a leader. He is not stepping up and drawing the line in the sand and sticking to it. He’s done that before … I believe our president has got to make some strong statements and back it up. You got to say what you mean, mean what you say.”

Simmons, who has spoken out in the past to advocate for conservative issues, invoked Theodore Roosevelt’s “big stick” theory, saying:

“If you speak softly and carry a big stick and never use the big stick, I’ll never listen to you again.”
