One pastor from a church in Louisiana was not about to be taken advantage of, and he apparently doesn’t take too kindly to criminals defacing his place of worship, either.

The Conservative Tribune reported:

We now have another defensive gun use story to add to the list of reasons why Americans must retain their right to keep and bear arms. A pastor of a church in New Orleans, Louisiana recently stopped a burglary in progress at his church, by using his gun.

Pastor W. L. T. Littleton, of the Greater Morning Star Baptist Church, caught two burglars in the act of attempting to steal copper wiring from his church on Wednesday evening.

The pastor opened fire on the pair of robbers, wounding one. He then chased after them as they fled.

Police later caught the suspects, holding the wounded one in a hospital, while charging the other with theft and placing him in jail.

The pastor was taken into custody, then released later with no charges.

Members of the church and surrounding community say the pastor, who is a former police officer, is a gentle and generous man, who often goes out of his way to help others. A witness to the shooting said that Pastor Littleton would have likely just given the men some money, if only they had asked, instead of trying to rob the church.

That is one bad ass man of God! Tell us what you think of this report in the comments section!
